Transit insurance
Transit insurance is available on request, at an extra charge, through an insurance company. Ask for it when you take your quote. The premium depends on the value of the goods you declare, and it is shown on your quote separately. The insurance company’s policy terms apply to any claim.
Reporting damage or a missing item
Please check your goods at delivery. If anything is damaged or missing, tell us within 48 hours of delivery by WhatsApp or call on +91 97112 31606, or by email at info@bluesafelogistic.com. If the damage is visible when the goods are handed over, please also mention it to the crew on the spot.
What to share
- Your name, phone number and moving date.
- Clear photos or a short video of the damage, and of the carton it came in.
- The carton number and a description of the item.
- For an insurance claim, the documents the insurance company asks for, such as proof of the item’s value.
What happens next
We check the report, in person or on a video call, and tell you the outcome. If your goods were insured, we help you file the claim with the insurance company and give you the documents it needs from our side.
Helping us prevent damage
- Point out fragile and valuable items during the survey.
- If you pack some cartons yourself, leave them open so the crew can check them.
- Keep cash, jewellery and important documents with you; they should not be in the shipment.
