Moving house in Faridabad: what to plan for
NIT and Old Faridabad
NIT 1 to 5 and the old town are closely built, with narrow lanes and busy markets. The truck usually stands on the main road, and the crew carries goods over the last stretch. Starting early in the morning saves a lot of time here.
Sectors and gated colonies
Most sectors are plotted houses and builder floors, many with stairs-only upper floors. Gated colonies such as Green Field Colony and Charmwood Village may ask for the truck details at the gate, so share them a day before.
Greater Faridabad towers
New societies in sectors 75 to 89 often need a move-in permission and a service-lift booking. If your flat has just been handed over, confirm the date with the society office first.
Mathura Road traffic
Mathura Road and the roads to Delhi and Gurugram are slow at office hours. We time the drive outside the rush wherever possible.
