Moving house in Noida: what to plan for

High-rise societies

Societies in sectors 74 to 78, 100 to 121, along the expressway and in Noida Extension usually ask for a move-out or move-in permission from the maintenance office, a service-lift booking and moving within fixed hours. Some also take a refundable deposit. Ask early, because weekend slots go first. We plan the packing so the truck is loaded within your lift slot.

Older sectors

In sectors such as 12, 19, 22 and 26, homes are mostly plotted houses and builder floors. Upper floors are often reached by stairs only, so the survey checks the staircase before the crew size is fixed.

Moving into a new flat

Many families in Noida Extension and on the expressway are moving into newly handed-over flats. New societies may still have limited lifts and strict move-in rules, so confirm the date with the builder or society office before booking.

Getting across NCR

Noida connects to Delhi by the DND Flyway and Kalindi Kunj, and to Greater Noida by the expressway. Peak-hour traffic decides the drive time, so we time the move around it.
