What we move as luggage
- Suitcases, trolley bags and backpacks.
- Cartons of clothes, books and kitchen things.
- A few larger pieces, such as a mattress, a TV, a microwave or a study table.
- A bike or scooter, packed separately. See bike transport.
How luggage shifting works
- Quote. Tell us roughly what you have, where it is going and when. You get the price in writing.
- Pickup and packing. Our crew collects the luggage from your door and packs what needs it: cartons sealed, bags wrapped, a TV or a mattress covered.
- Labels and count. Every piece gets a label and a number, so nothing is mixed up with anyone else’s goods.
- Transport. Your luggage goes by shared truck or by train, whichever suits the route and your date. Your quote tells you which.
- Delivery. It is delivered to your new address, and you check the count against the pickup list.
Who it suits
- Students moving to a new college, or going home after a course.
- Professionals joining a job in another city.
- Families sending some luggage ahead of the main move.
- Anyone moving with a few things rather than a full home.
What cannot go as luggage
Cash, jewellery and important documents should stay with you. Gas cylinders, fuel, and anything that can catch fire or leak cannot be sent.
