What we collect

• Details you give us for a quote: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, where you are moving from and to, the service you need, your moving date and any message.
• Details needed to carry out a move: pickup and delivery addresses, the list of items, and photos or video of your goods if you choose a video survey.
• Documents for some services: such as the vehicle RC for car or bike transport, or passport and visa copies needed for customs on a move abroad. We ask for these only when the service needs them.
• Website data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited, for security. The site also stores a small note in your browser for one visit, so the quote pop-up does not keep showing. We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

• To answer your quote request and call or WhatsApp you about it.
• To plan and carry out your move, and keep you updated during it.
• To prepare invoices and keep the accounts and tax records the law requires.
• To prevent fraud and keep our systems secure.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to your move.

Your consent

Our quote forms ask for your consent before you send your details. You can withdraw it at any time by email or WhatsApp. Withdrawing does not affect what was done before, but if we no longer have the details a move needs, we may not be able to complete it.

Who we share it with

• Our own staff and branches who work on your move.
• Partners your move needs, and only for that move: for example a car carrier, or the shipping line, airline, customs broker and destination agent on a move abroad.
• Service providers that run our website and email, under their own confidentiality terms.
• Government authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to answer and follow up on your request. If you book a move, we keep the booking and billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. After that, the data is deleted or made anonymous.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Correct, complete or update it.
• Delete it, where we no longer need it for your move or by law.
• Answer a complaint about how we handled it.
• Let a person you nominate use these rights for you if you cannot.

How we protect it

Only the staff working on your move can see your details. Enquiries are kept in protected files that are not open to the public, and this website uses a secure (https) connection.

Children

Our services are meant for adults. If we receive the details of someone under 18, we use them only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Write to info@bluesafelogistic.com or call +91 97112 31606 with “Privacy” in your message. We will reply as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied after raising it with us, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
