Barwala Road leads north from Hisar towards Barwala and connects with roads to Punjab and Haryana’s northern districts. The area includes residential colonies, plots and some commercial establishments, and its edges meet agricultural land. It is a part of Hisar that is changing as the city grows.
Roads in the area are a mixture. The main Barwala Road is wide, while internal lanes in colonies may be narrow and sometimes unpaved. In the monsoon, low-lying lanes can be waterlogged, and in the harvest season, tractors and trolleys add to traffic.
