Manikonda lies south of Gachibowli, around the Manikonda Main Road, Lanco Hills, Alkapur Township, Puppalguda and Neknampur. It started as a village and is now a major residential hub for IT employees who prefer a quieter neighbourhood close to the Financial District and Narsingi.
The Manikonda Main Road is the principal artery, and it is crowded in the morning and evening because everyone heads for Gachibowli or the ORR. Narrow and sometimes broken roads connect the colonies, and construction is continuous. We scout the approach before the first move in a new lane, and our drivers keep the vehicle length reasonable.
Housing includes large gated townships such as Alkapur and Lanco Hills, with lifts, clubhouses and security, as well as many smaller apartment buildings and independent houses. The townships have strict rules about hours and vehicle size. Smaller buildings may not have a lift, and a three-floor walk-up needs a larger crew. Rented homes are abundant, so small and medium moves are the norm. Typical moves are to Gachibowli, Narsingi, Puppalguda and Shaikpet. Customers leaving Hyderabad can reach the ORR quickly, and trucks bound for Bengaluru or Mumbai can enter the highways without crossing the city. We recommend booking at least five days ahead for month-end and weekend dates, when the demand is the highest.

Manikonda is a popular area near Gachibowli and Puppalguda, with many apartments, PGs and gated communities, and the Manikonda–Narsingi road. The area has seen rapid growth, and roads in some parts are narrow compared to the traffic. The Manikonda jagir and the old village area have tight lanes. We use smaller vehicles for the village and bigger trucks for the societies. Many tenants work in the IT corridor, so moves are heavy at month-end. Typical destinations are Gachibowli, Narsingi, Kondapur and Tolichowki.
