MR 10, short for Main Road 10, is one of the major arterial roads of Indore, running through the eastern side of the city and linking Vijay Nagar to Bhawarkuan and the Ring Road. The road carries heavy traffic, and service lanes are narrow and often blocked by parked vehicles. We plan moves for the late morning, avoid the evening return, and keep the truck on a side road until the crew is ready. Inside the colonies, streets are quieter, but turns can be tight, so we ask for the lane and landmark when booking.
Flats here are typically in mid-rise apartment buildings with lifts, and we book them with the committee. Beds, wardrobes and modular units are dismantled and re-assembled, and kitchen items are packed in cartons. Showrooms and offices along the road are moved after hours, with tagged furniture, numbered cartons and labelled cables. Hospital staff and students also account for many small moves, for which we have fixed prices.
