Pandri is the old commercial core of Raipur, known for its cloth and textile market, the Pandri bus stand area, wholesale shops and dense lanes that fill with customers from morning until evening. Many families live in old houses and in flats above shops, and traders in the market often live close to their stock, which makes moves here a mix of household and commercial work.
