Nanpura is an old, busy part of central Surat that stretches from the Tapi bank towards the Rangila Park area, the Nanpura Timaliyawad and the lanes around Sagrampura. Its streets are narrow, its houses and flats are closely packed, and the daily life of the neighbourhood is loud and crowded, with vendors, rickshaws, scooters and shoppers filling the lanes.
