Akshayanagar is a residential layout off Bannerghatta Road near Kudlu Gate, Hulimavu and Begur, built up mainly over the last couple of decades with plotted houses, villas and mid-rise apartments. The roads inside the layout are wider than in the old village pockets, which is good news for trucks, but the approach from Bannerghatta Road passes through a congested stretch where buses and school vans share a narrow carriageway. Our drivers know to wait for a gap rather than push in, and we plan arrivals outside school drop and pick-up hours.
