Guindy sits at the heart of south Chennai, with the Guindy National Park, the race course, the Raj Bhavan and the large industrial estate around it. The Guindy junction, where Anna Salai, the Airport Road and the Velachery link road meet, is among the city’s most congested places, and any heavy vehicle needs to plan around it.

Move-outs from institutional housing usually come with a date and a set of formalities, such as a handover inspection, so we ask for the date early and plan the crew to finish before the inspection time.
The industrial estate is a different type of job. Small units, workshops and offices move stock, files and equipment, usually outside working hours. We visit first, list the items and give a written quote that mentions the loading window and the access. For homes, common moves are to Velachery, Adyar and Porur, and many of them are done in the morning before the junction becomes impossible.
