Nehru Place: Asia’s well-known IT market and the offices around it
Nehru Place is a commercial hub in south Delhi, famous for its computer and electronics market, software offices, banks and showrooms, and anchored by the Nehru Place metro station and the Lotus Temple nearby. Few people live in the market itself, but the surrounding areas of Kalkaji, Greater Kailash, Eros Garden and Govindpuri house thousands of people who work there, so moves in this area usually fall into two groups: shops and offices shifting stock and equipment, and tenants moving into and out of nearby flats.
