Moving day in Sector 77 starts with the society’s move approval, which you get from the maintenance office a few days before. On the day, the crew arrives at the time the society allows, registers at the gate and parks the truck at the service area of your tower. The service lift is padded and the lobby floor covered. Packing goes room by room, beginning with the rooms you use least and ending with the kitchen. Sofas, beds and wardrobes are wrapped in the flat, and pieces too big for the lift are taken apart. Cartons are staged near the lift so the crew can load steadily through the slot. Electronics are packed in padded cartons and travel upright. The drive out of Greater Faridabad follows the route checked during the survey, since some roads are still being finished. Before leaving, the crew lead checks the empty flat with you.
