Sector 9–11: HUDA sectors near the city centre
Sectors 9 to 11 are a group of HUDA residential sectors in Hisar, laid out with plotted houses, parks and local markets. They are well located, near the city centre, schools and hospitals, and they are popular with families who want a planned neighbourhood with good facilities.
The layout simplifies a move. Roads are straight and of decent width, houses are built in rows, and most have a gate big enough for a trolley. Street parking is the main challenge: in the evenings, cars and two-wheelers line both sides of the lanes, and a truck waiting outside may block neighbours. We suggest informing nearby houses of the date and, if possible, reserving a space the evening before. A morning start generally means empty lanes.
Many houses have been divided into floors, with a family on each floor, so we sometimes handle simultaneous moves from two floors of the same house. The staircases are often shared and narrow, so we protect the walls and the railings. Households often include students preparing for competitive exams, whose rooms are full of books; we pack these in small boxes.
