Habsiguda: institutes, cross roads and student rooms
Habsiguda is a mid-sized residential and institutional area on the way from Tarnaka to Uppal. The Habsiguda Cross Roads, Street No. 8, Ramanthapur Road and the Uppal Road are its main routes. NGRI, IICT and other institutions are located here, and many scientists and staff reside in the nearby colonies.
The cross roads are busy, and the Uppal Road carries heavy traffic during peak hours. Some inner roads are narrow, and small shops and street vendors reduce the space. We recommend a morning start and pre-arranged parking, since the trucks may need to stop for a while during loading.
Apartment buildings in Habsiguda are mostly four to six floors, many without lifts, and independent houses are also common. The student and PG population is large, so we handle many small moves, and our quote is by the room for these. Staff moving out of institute quarters have inspections and clearance procedures, and we adapt our time to them. Typical moves are to Tarnaka, Uppal, Nacharam and Ramanthapur, and some families move to Kompally or Alwal for bigger homes. Roads are moderately wide, but encroachments narrow the carriageway. We choose a vehicle based on the lane, and time the move for mid-morning to avoid school hours.
